Great individuals don't necessarily equal great teams without building excellent working relationships. On the same note, great departments and divisions don't always equal great companies. The right mix of people, skills, and resources is not enough. Without the right relationships, the effectiveness of the team and company is limited. For sustainable high-level performance, team members must learn to assess their own communication and work styles as well as identify the most productive way to build cross-departmental relationships.
