DiSC® PPSS - Role Behavior Analysis™
Determine how a role or function can be performed most effectively with this role behavior evaluation instrument. The Role Behavior Analysis (RBA) provides a practical process for defining behavioral expectations for specific roles, for comparing an individual's DiSC® behavior with the behavioral expectations of his or her current or potential role, and for developing strategies to meet role expectations. It's ideal for supervisory and management coaching, performance review support, team building, and personal development.
The RBA on EPIC uses DiSC PPSS data to collect and process perceptions of how a job, position, or role needs to be fulfilled to achieve maximum effectiveness.

Comparison of Multiple PPS/RBAs Report
This report looks at how a role or multiple different roles compare with the behavioral preferences of one or more individuals. The comprehensive analysis helps participants see which roles best match their behavioral requirements. It also helps them to understand how their colleagues mesh or clash with certain roles.
To offer a quick snapshot of how individuals and roles overlap, the Personal Profile System Graph charts both the individuals' preferences and the roles' behavioral needs on the same DiSC chart. The visual display ensures that the preferences of all respondents and roles across all four styles are quickly made clear.
In the Role Behavior Analysis Comparison Grid, the intensity levels of specific behaviors are displayed. This analysis shows to what degree the participants and roles align with one another on specific behaviors. Both close fits and noticeable gaps in intensity among respondents or roles are shown on an easy-to-read chart.

Comparison of Multiple RBAs Report
This report examines the similarities and differences among a maximum of 15 different roles. Each role is charted on its own DiSC graph. The graphs are displayed on one chart so that the highs and lows of each role are clearly contrasted against all the other roles' requirements.
On the Role Behavior Comparison Grid, the intensity level for each role is displayed, relative to one another. This is done by listing specific behaviors, then identifying to what degree they fit each role. The gap in intensity among the roles is then pinpointed for each behavior.
This report concludes with the Worksheet for Comparison of RBA. It encourages the respondent to think about the ways that different roles require both similar and contrasting behaviors.

Comparison of Single PPS/RBA Report
This report looks at how the respondent's DiSC PPSS results compare with the behavioral expectations of a specific role. The assessment allows the participant to see how well his or her behaviors match the requirements of the role.
The first insight that this report provides is the Comparison Graph, which plots both the individual's preferences and the role's behavioral needs on the same DiSC chart. In this way, the similarities and differences between the person and the role are clear at a glance. The highs and lows for both the respondent and the role across all four styles are illustrated.
More in-depth information is offered in the Comparison Analysis. This section identifies specific behaviors that the role requires and spells out how well the respondent's preferences fit those needs. In the first category are those behaviors that are a good fit. The next category looks at stretch behaviors, or those actions that the respondent may have to increase to fit the needs of the role. In the final category, redirect behaviors are identified. These are behaviors that the participant may need to minimize to match the role's requirements.
In the Role Behavior Comparison Grid, the intensity levels of specific behaviors are displayed. The grid indicates how each behavior ranks according to the respondent's preferences and the role's needs. The gap in intensity between the respondent and the role is then revealed for each behavior.
This report ends with Performance Coaching Questions. These questions prompt the respondent to develop an action plan to implement this report's insights.
